This sermon, which I may critique more fully in another post, had Loudermilk trying to defend the Hardshell novel idea of being born again apart from hearing the word of God. In this sermon he insists that "the voice of the Son of God" (that is the means of the new birth) is not the written or preached word but is the direct speaking of Christ (on a sub conscious level) to a person. This idea I have overthrown in many writings over the years. But, what is very striking about this sermon by Loudermilk is the fact that at the very end of this sermon he with emotion says: "I need him to talk to me through his word"! Lol! What a contradiction!
