Grigg Thompson on Preaching to Sinners

In an "ADDRESS TO PRIMITIVE BAPTISTS" (see here) Hardshell great Grigg Thompson said:

"We are not of that people who were never called to preach to sinners. The command we have received from our King is, "Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.""

If one reads Grigg's sermons he will see how he, like the first Hardshells who stood aloof from Daniel Parker and "Two Seedism," men like John Watson and John Clark, did not fail to exhort the lost sinners in regard to their soul's salvation. In this he reflected the faith and practice of the old Baptists of former times.
