Here is another song that is found in many Hardshell hymn books (and in nearly all other Christian hymn books) that testifies of truth that is denied by today's Hardshells.
Hardshells do not say to all men without distinction - "let everyone prepare him room" in their hearts and lives! They have great reluctance to saying to lost sinners - "receive Christ into your heart".
Joy To The World
1 Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King!
Let ev'ry heart prepare Him room,
and heav'n and nature sing,
and heav'n and nature sing,
and heav'n, and heav'n and nature sing.
All men in the world are called upon to receive Christ as their king. Further, if they do not do so, it will be their damning sin. Yet, Hardshells do not believe that it is sin to reject Christ!
Here are some other articles that Kevin and I have written about the inconsistency and hypocrisy of the Hardshells in singing the hymns of their forefathers when they do not believe them.
