Well, have the Hardshells not tried for years to "cancel" our speech in regard to their heresies? Do the Hardshells not have a "cancel culture" in their ranks? I could give numerous examples of where they have tried to cancel others, such as through resolutions of non fellowship. Do not cults try to cancel the speech of those who are exposing them?

Usually those who "cancel" others do so because they are either afraid of the truth, or because they deny it. Those who are afraid dont want their world view crushed, like a child finding out theres no Santa Claus. Those who deny it become "papists" in a sense who would rather the ship go down than see their house of cards fall.
The Lord himself will cancel such people. Though they try to "stop the mouths" of those who proclaim truth, he will in the end shut the mouths of all such people.
Blessings,
Stephen
The verse I often think of to describe our current cultural climate:
"For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." - John 3:20
I think this lies at the heart of refusing to dialogue one's position. Doing so will expose it for the evil that it is, according to the Christian and/or conservative worldview. So the strategy is simply cancel the light so that it has not the opportunity to shine.
